Augest, Brian and Back2UK Tomorrow

Alright, I admit that I didn’t have time making more blogs during this summer. I was fucking busy the whole Augest: Finished my mag, then gone to Shanghai hold a vampire meeting, made an appointment with a photographer there and shot pictures. Then went back to Beijing on 6th and gone to Japan on 8th. It was a nice trip though. We went most famous cities and spent weekend in Tokyo. Shopped a lot ahaha. Came back at 13th and the next day my friend Vicky came along from Ji'nan. Went to the station with Eddi and picked her up. And my birthday’s on 17th. Nothing really special, even didn’t get chance having dinner with more friends, but we did have the cake. Tasted great. That weekend we talked about my film, I went to suburb (bloody far away) and took pictures for another friend’s new band. Vicky left that Sunday, and Monday we began shooting my film. It took two days, costed me a lot and all stuff got tired. Haven’t done the editing so far. The last week of Augest, I finally got ill (far too tired I guess?), had to lie on bed almost the whole week. So I downloaded lots films and finished my article called “vampire study”. 30,000 words in total.

There’s pop festival held at Chaoyang Park last weekend. I went there both day, spent a fucking great time with my Shanghai friends. We all Placebo fans and we got private information from some music media we know. We were standing on the first row during their gig, and found them in the hotel afterwards. I believed that there’s only 7 of us got Placebo’s signatures this time. I gave my drawing to Brian as a gift, got his hugs, and I kissed him on the face, twice.

Shanghai Vamp-Meeting

Just back from Shanghai yesterday, the vamp meeting there was fantastic! Nearly 30 people came along. It was saturday evening, we booked a cafe at No.50 Moganshan Rd., the famous art area in Shanghai. My friend Peter Pan lent me his gallery as the venue. It called Diogenes' Barrel, a small but elegent modern gallery.

Faye and I got lots idea for the meeting. We made the dress code, brought CDs, sent out mags and business cards. The most great thing was the Test Tube Wine. The ruby red colour in tubes looked fabulous and mysterious! Members and friends, everyone hold it and drank from the glass tube. How brillian idea! We also wanna make some plastic bag with tubes and put red colour juice in it. That would be fantastic, if we ever think about runing a pub or gothic bar in the future.

Well, I shall fly to Osaka tomorrow and spend my weekend in Tokyo. Busy life, but I quite enjoy it. Check my flickr or here for meeting photos: http://www.cdd.cn/home.asp?member_name=yomi

Beijing Vamp-meeting

... was yesterday. 20 people came along, which are 12 memebers and 8 friends. I felt great, though I didn't feel quite well earlier time that day. I've caught cold, a little bit. I gave 24 mags and sold 7 fangs. And the cafegirl loves my work as well. She asked for my signature and treated me coffee.

And today I just sent 59 mags to my friends.

Vamputopia Mag

Hi peepers! I've done my mag. I got the final print today, 500 copies in total. 88 pages including 8 colour ones, printed on special papers. They look fabulous. I assume they are the best fantasy-mag so far, at least from what they look. I read them over and over again, feeling the difference between what I've seen on computer and the print. I'm so proud.

And tomorrow will be my first vamp meet in China. Fulaixuan Cafe, Beijing. 7pm till 9pm. Tuzi would go clubbing with me after that, maybe some vamp members as well. Can't wait to go!!

P.S. I've booked the return flight to Shanghai. Shall leave on 1st and back on 6th August, then go to Japan on 8th.

Still Alive

I'm still alive. The thundershower last night was horrible, and the night before last. I hate the weather here. I have doing the Mag for two weeks, it went ok, but I have to ask the publisher about everything. And I've added 16 more pages, so totally in 80 pages now. The content will be AR and PZB, and Blueghost, Echo, Ash, Sherry and myself, the vampire translations and other short stories, reviews etc. Hopefully it could be done due the time.

Taobao is a great site. I found lots goth-punk shops there and bought some items. They are much cheaper than those in UK. And I shall talk with them and put some ADs on my mag soon.

Back to Beijing

Well, I'm home. The heat is killing me. Never thought Beijing is such hot before. Everything home is burning. I have to take cool bath 3 times a day and always turn those airconditions on. Still feel hard to breathe. Bloody hell.

Anyway, just arrived yesterday, transfered at Munich and met German Nico on flight. Had a nice journey, he tasted great.
